The marina of Alicante is completely integrated in the city, giving the possibility to cruise passengers to enjoy all tourist attractions without the fuss of moving or walking long distances.
The cruise Terminal, situated on pier 14, was built in the 70’s and it’s been completely renovated to accommodate the needs of both the shipping companies and the cruise passengers that visit us every year
Among the numerous possibilities and advantages that Alicante harbor can offer, we would like to highlight the ones we consider the most relevant to tourists:

Within the Terminal you can find different stands filled with flyers, maps and tourist agents ready to welcome the passengers and help them with any queries they might have about the city they’re about to visit and enjoy.
2. The city at your fingertips
Giving the strategic location of the Alicante Marina, the city center is only 1km away from the Terminal. This allows cruisers to visit the most incredible landmarks by walking for barely 10 minutes after disembark.
3. Renovated Terminal building
Thanks to the recent refurbishment that took place in the Terminal, nowadays the cruise passengers can find all the facilities and services they might need at their arrival:
- Air-con ditioning
- Free Wi-Fi
- Parking lot for 200 vehicles
- Taxi and shuttle bus stop
- Public restrooms
- Accessibility for the Disabled
- Customs and police services
4. Many activities and water sports
Within the Alicante Marina numerous activities and water sports options for those who would like to enjoy the Costa Blanca in a different and exciting way.
In just a few minutes walk from the Terminal there are services for jet skis, flyboards, catamaran rides or kayak and paddle surf rentals.
5. Base port to MSC shipping company
In this year 2023, the MSC shipping company chose again Alicante as a base port for their Mediterranean itineraries. This time in charge of their vessel called “Lírica”, with a capacity for 2.069 passengers.
Until now, both Pullmantur (the first company to choose Alicante as base port, between 2016 and 2017) and MSC Cruises have organized their departures from Alicante’s water, this way boosting the growth potential of our cruise Terminal.
