ABOUT THE MUNICIPALITY
The municipality of 📍𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗿 has a long industrial tradition centred on the manufacture of leather footwear, as well as the production of wines and sparkling wines, historical and nature tourism.
Some of Petrer’s points of interest are:
🏰 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘀 such as Petrer Castle, the cave houses and the San Rafael aqueduct.
🏛️ The Dámaso Navarro Museum, dedicated to the archaeology and ethnology of the municipality.
🏕️ More than 30 𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘀 or the Arenal de l’Almorxó Municipal Natural Park, an important dune formation due to its geological and biological uniqueness, covering more than 50 hectares.
🎉Enjoy its most representative festivals, such as the Moors and Christians, the patron saint festivities, the festivities of the Holy Cross, the festivities of the Holy Christ or the Rendiciò.
✅ This promotion is part of the Alicante Costa Blanca Tourism and Cruises Association’s project to attract cruise passengers to the interior of the Costa Blanca, in collaboration with the Costa Blanca Provincial Tourist Board and the Alicante Provincial Council.
El municipio de 📍𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗿 cuenta con una gran tradición industrial centrada en la fabricación de calzado en marroquinería, así como en la producción de vinos y espumosos, turismo histórico y de naturaleza.
Algunos de los puntos de interés de Petrer son:
🏰 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘀 como el Castillo de Petrer, las casas cueva o el acueducto de San Rafael.
🏛️ El 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗼 de Dámaso Navarro, dedicado a la arqueología y a la etnología del municipio.
🏕️ La más de 30 𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘀 o el Paraje Natural Municipal Arenal de l’Almorxó, una formación dunar importante por su singularidad geológica y biológica con más de 50 hectáreas.
