DESCRIPTION
The AGOCV was created in 2015 from the merger of three provincial associations. Its mission is to represent, promote and defend the interests of official guides.
Activities and Services:
• Defence and Promotion of the Profession: They act as intermediaries with public institutions and safeguard the professional and economic interests of their members.
• Continuing Education: They offer training to their members through ‘familiarisation trips’ (FamTrips) and collaborate with entities such as the Network of Tourism Centres (CdT) and Invat.tur to organise training activities.
• Representation: They are members of national, European and global associations (CEFAPIT, FEG, WFTGA), which gives them professional representation on a global scale.
• Intermediation: They serve as a point of contact for those seeking guide services, connecting applicants with associated guides.
LOCATION
They work on request in the three provinces of the Valencian Community: Alicante, Valencia, and Castellón.
